The two Tales
First morning we are heading to north of L.A. to visit Solvang. It will take us to northern Europe. Once Solvang was built by Danish settlers who missed their native country so much that they reproduced the atmosphere of Denmark in distant America with amazing meticulousness, from elegant houses with peaked roofs to the smell of fresh pastries from Danish bakeries, where you can have your. delicious breakfast. After that is time to go toward the coast by downhills, through the colorful landscapes which are guiding us to Santa Barbara. We are here for the beautiful architecture in the Spanish-Moorish style, for the fisherman's pier, where you can eat fresh fish, for a walk along the busy main street and feel the authentic Spanish vibes till the sunset.
